GANDHI JAYANTI - 2020
Scholastic and co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in school program for the all-round development of the child. Keeping this in view Hardayal Public School conducted various activities on the occasion of 151st birth anniversary of Gandhi Ji. The students of classes LKG, UKG & 1 were dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi and spoke a few sentences. The students of Class 2nd and 3rd gave remarkable performances depicting the life of the great man who lived on the principles of ahimsa and non-violence. They had prepared speech, poem, bhajan and slogan. They dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi and sang Bhajans. They also used props like Charkha, Dandi, Khadaun and glasses. The main aim of conducting the competition was to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to speak. The effort and hard work of children was highly commendable. The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents. During online classes, they were also told the importance of 2nd October and they were educated about Mahatma Gandhi ji and his principles. Finally, I would like to thanks all the parents and our budding rock stars that made this event joyful with their impressive performances.
